Workshop to discover espresso techniques

Come and discover the world of espresso with our baristas.

Throughout this aromatic, gustatory and olfactory discovery, you will explore the richness and complexity of the sector, from the coffee tree to the cup, including the reality of producers and the prospects of the specialty coffee industry.

Program

This espresso workshop is designed for those who dream of spending a few hours in the shoes of a barista, making an espresso according to the rules of the art.

You will be accompanied by our baristas and roasters in understanding the fundamentals of espresso extraction, and the precision required in grinder settings.

You will take on the role of barista for the duration of a workshop, preparing espresso-based drinks and discovering the rules for extracting better coffee at home.

What topics will be covered in this workshop?

— Introduction to specialty coffee
— Introduction to roasting and differences in extraction between filter and espresso methods
— Presentation of the equipment (machine, grinder, barista accessories...)
— Introduction to mill settings
— Practice and tasting
— The basics of making espresso at home

    If your last-minute schedule prevents you from attending your session, simply notify us 48 hours in advance so we can offer it to someone on the waiting list. Otherwise, no refund will be issued.

All our coffees are meticulously sourced by Carlos Rodriguez , a Franco-Colombian roaster and coffee expert , and roasted in Toulouse to fairly enhance the entire production chain.
