Throughout this aromatic, gustatory and olfactory discovery, you will approach all the richness and complexity of the sector, from the coffee plant to the cup, through the reality of producers and the prospects of the specialty coffee industry.

Program

This espresso workshop is designed for those who dream of spending a few hours in the shoes of a barista by making an espresso according to the rules of the art.

You will be accompanied by our baristas and roasters in understanding the fundamentals of espresso extraction, the precision required in the settings of the grinder.

You will take on the role of barista during a workshop by preparing espresso-based drinks and discovering the rules for extracting better coffee at home.

What do we cover during this workshop?

— Introduction to specialty coffee
— Introduction to roasting and extraction differences between filter method and espresso
— Presentation of the equipment (machine, grinder, barista accessories, etc.)
— Introduction to grinder settings
— Practice and tasting
— The fundamentals for extracting an espresso at home

Each participant will leave with a 250gr package in grains or ground for the method of their choice.

    If your last-minute schedule does not allow you to take advantage of your session, all you have to do is let us know 48 hours in advance so that we can pass it on to an interested person on the waiting list. Otherwise, no refund will be accepted.

All our coffees are meticulously sourced by Carlos Rodriguez , a Franco-Colombian roaster and coffee expert , and roasted in Toulouse to fairly enhance the entire production chain.
