Come and discover the world of coffee, its history and its trends during a 2-hour initiation with Carlos Rodriguez, our coffeeologist and master roaster .

Throughout this aromatic, gustatory and olfactory discovery, you will approach all the richness and complexity of the sector, from the coffee plant to the cup, through the reality of producers and the prospects of the specialty coffee industry.

Program

The starting point of these 2 hours will be the producing countries, to continue on the reality of the industry, the perspectives of specialty coffee through a practical application, through a session of cupping and preparation of a or several gentle extraction methods (Chemex, V60, Aeropress, Siphon, etc.). This initiation aims to give you the keys to understanding to take full advantage of the beautiful riches of coffee.

What do we discuss during these 2 hours?

  • From seed to roasting, the route of the coffee cherry (varieties, fermentations)
  • The reality of the industry
  • The specificities of specialty coffee
  • From roast to cup
  • Cupping session and discovery of gentle methods (different extractions)

If your last-minute schedule does not allow you to take advantage of your session, all you have to do is let us know 48 hours in advance so that we can pass it on to an interested person on the waiting list. Otherwise, no refund will be accepted.

We roast our coffees with deep respect for both producers and consumers . All our coffees are meticulously sourced by Carlos Rodriguez , a Franco-Colombian roaster and coffee expert , and roasted in Toulouse to fairly enhance the entire production chain.
