Workshop on introductory filtering methods

Come and discover the world of gentle methods with our baristas.

Do you want to discover and explore the aromatic richness of specialty coffee and change your coffee routine at home? Here is a workshop dedicated to introducing you to gentle brewing methods.

This workshop is a gateway into the world of coffee via filtered methods, also known as soft methods, offering a wider aromatic range than traditional espresso.

Our baristas will introduce you to the smoothness of filter coffees, their specific characteristics and the possibilities they offer on a daily basis.

Duration: 1 hour

Location: in our shop at 31 rue Bouquières

Maximum number of participants per session: 6 people

The workshops take place on Monday afternoons.

Who is this for ?

Amateurs (informed or not), catering professionals or simply curious people.

What topics will be covered in this workshop?

— Introduction to specialty coffee

— The differences between filter methods and espresso

— The importance of dosage, water, grind, and extraction time

— Tasting of different gentle methods (V60, Chemex, Origami, Aeropress, Delter, French Press...)

— Understanding the taste of coffee and the parameters to use at home for a good filter coffee

If your last-minute schedule prevents you from attending your session, simply notify us 48 hours in advance so we can offer it to someone on the waiting list. Otherwise, no refund will be issued.
